Everyone is welcome, whether you&#039;re a recreational runner or a nationally competitive athlete. All of this is made possible by training provided by expert coaches and experienced runners.<\/p><p>We have access to various facilities. The sports center features a well-equipped weight room. Just outside the campus are beautiful woods, ideal for endurance and cross-training. Sprint, middle-distance, and technical training sessions take place at the Brakkenstein athletics track, within walking distance of the sports center.<\/p><p>Have you never tried athletics before, would you like to try a shot put, or do you run the same route around your neighborhood once or twice a week? Then you&#039;re also very welcome at &#039;t Haasje. With us, you can get acquainted with all aspects of athletics. Besides competitive events, we participate in the eight annual NSKs (student championships) and events like the Batavierenrace.<\/p><p>Athletics is fun, but relaxation is also important. That&#039;s why we organize many activities, such as the monthly drinks in town and the monthly &quot;Haasjehap&quot; (meat-the-hay) in the canteen. Every year, we have a club weekend and a training weekend, where sportsmanship and fun are the main focus.<\/p><p>With approximately 175 members, divided into recreational and competitive members, there&#039;s always a place for you. As a recreational member, you can participate in all training sessions. As a competitive member, in addition to regular training sessions, you can also participate in all Athletics Union (track) competitions, such as leagues and regional and national championships. Recreational members are also welcome to participate in all other competitions.<\/p><p>Come to &#039;t Haasje and experience for yourself how athletics and conviviality can go hand in hand!<\/p><p>There are 3 different training groups, which focus on different aspects of athletics:<\/p><ul><li>sprinters and hurdlers;<\/li><li>medium- and long-distance runners;<\/li><li>technicians (long jump, triple jump and (pole vault) high jump, shot put and throw, javelin and discus throw).<\/li><\/ul><p>You can always come and train without obligation!
