Mijke Kooiker
Hey everyone! My name is Mijke and this year I am honoured to be chair! Some of you might already know me, because this is my second board year at 't Haasje. Last year I was Commissioner of Internal affairs and I had a lot of fun doing that. I got to meet a lot of new people, I organised fun events and learned a lot about myself and the association. But because of corona (sorry for mentioning this again) I had a feeling that I was missing out on a lot of things. That's why I decided to do another board year at this amazing association, this time being the chair.
Oh well, enough is said about the board, let me tell you something about myself. As mentioned before, my name is Mijke, I am 20 years old and I am in the 3th year of the best study there is: Medicine! I was born and raised in the province with the most sun: Zeeland. And although a lot of people think Zeeland is the end of the world, it is actually not that far.
I started doing Athletics when I was 14 years old in Goes, at AV'56. I love doing high jump and long jump, but last year I also started to sprint a lot and its not weird to see me doing shot put. I am looking forward to an amazing, fun year with lots of trainings and activities! Don't be afraid to ask anything.
