Activities
All activities organized by Het Haasje are completely without obligation. Please participate in the activities that you enjoy. Nothing is mandatory, everything is allowed!
Barbeque
The annual barbecue takes place at the end of the academic year. On this evening you can enjoy delicious food (both meat and vegetarian) and plenty of (non-)alcoholic drinks. During the barbecue, the Haasje awards will be presented and the new club record holders will be put in the spotlight. Furthermore, it is always a pleasant end to the academic year!
Batavieren race
The Batavierenrace is the world's largest student relay race, and brings together thousands of students every year for a 175 kilometer relay from our beautiful Nijmegen to Enschede. Het Haasje also participates in this event every year with great enthusiasm. Always super fun, and a great physical and mental challenge (especially for the night and morning shifts due to relatively little sleep), and with a joint closing plus party in Enschede.
Drinks
Every first Thursday of the month, 't Haasje organizes a drink in our local café Dean at the Grote Markt. This is an opportunity to get to know your fellow bunnies and have a nice drink together. In addition, a New Year's drink takes place every year where all good intentions are discussed together.
Cantus
The cantus is an activity that occurs regularly within 't Haasje. The evening is all about good songs, beers and, above all, fun. The latter is of paramount importance, so don't worry, it's mainly about fun!
Club weekend
At the start of every academic year it is time for the club weekend. Here all sporting activities are put aside for more lucrative activities. Every year there is a theme evening/party and a lot of games are played.
CoBo
Every year the board celebrates its constitution with a drink, the constitution drink. But this is not just any drink. Come and have a nice reception or guard, so that other associations do not insult our mascot or flag.
Dinner Rouler
At 't Haasje, the end of December means time for dinner rouler! In pairs you bump past different houses for a three-course dinner. Each couple opens his, her, or their home and cooks one of the three courses. Furthermore, you eat with other duos per round, so you speak many different Haasjes in a short time. In short, a great way to eat well and speak to and/or get to know many fellow Haasjes better.
Tenderloin
Every last Thursday of the month, a few Haasjes cook a delicious meal with a lot of love. This is served in the club building after training. This means fun and a well-filled stomach. The meals are always vegetarian and allergies can always be taken into account.
HazenHunter
During this activity, Hares must complete as many assignments as possible in the center of our beautiful city. But, this is not crazy 88, because there are a number of other game components involved... Curious about what these extras are? Come to the activity! (or: You will hear that during the activity!)
HeelHaasjeBakt
Attention carrot cake bakers (and eaters)! This is your moment! During this evening, couples/trio's compete with their baked goods for various titles such as the most creative or most tasty baked goods. Everyone is a jury and to make a good decision it is of course necessary to taste as much as possible (AKA eat as much delicious food as you want :)). In short, a very pleasant evening!
Intro bowling
At the end of the annual introduction period, Olround Bowling Center is made unsafe by many Haasjes (both introductory Haasjes and members). Every year there is a battle for first place per lane and after bowling the city is often visited.
Karaoke night
In January it is always time to sing along to the most beautiful classics during karaoke. If you would like to make your voice heard at My Heart Will Go On or Oja Lele, then this is your evening
NSSR sports gala
Every year in December, the Nijmegen Student Sports Council (NSSR) organizes a gala in Nijmegen. This gala is open to everyone who is a member of a Nijmegen student sports association, a nice opportunity to get to know other people from other associations.
Pool party
The annual pool party is organized together with a number of other student sports clubs from Nijmegen. This event is held in the autumn, but in the swimming pool you will not notice these harsh temperatures. If you want a ride on the slide or play dodgeball with fellow students in the pool, then the pool party is the event for you!
Sinterklaas pub quiz
A wonderful evening filled with thought-provoking questions while enjoying spiced nuts and a drink. Every year the activities committee prepares a varied quiz. The team that has stuffed most of their brains with random facts will take home a nice prize.
