Of course, the association does not run smoothly. In addition to all the committees that make 't Haasje a lively association, the board is also busy behind the scenes to keep the club running. Board 2025/2026:

After two years of thoroughly enjoying 't Haasje's training sessions, activities, and committees, it was time for a new adventure! A year on the board soon came my way, and I've completely fallen in love with it. As chair of our association, I hope to be an accessible point of contact for all members, coaches, and other stakeholders! I want to do this by frequently attending training sessions and activities and continuing to connect with everyone. Besides 't Haasje, I'm in my third year of Nutrition & Dietetics and will be starting my minor this year. Besides athletics and school, I'm always up for a fun game night, a movie night, or a good shopping spree.

I've been involved in athletics my whole life, on the track in Leiden, where I grew up. When I went to university in Nijmegen, there was no other option than to continue with the most fantastic sport at 't Haasje! At the very first introductory training, I was immediately hooked and knew I was going to have a blast at 't Haasje. And that proved to be the case, because after a year as a member, I felt so at home here that I immediately wanted to join the board. This year, I'll be serving as secretary, something I'm really looking forward to! Besides being on the board, I'm studying Psychology and am always up for a cup of coffee or a friendly chat.

After a year at 't Haasje, filled with training sessions, activities, and competitions, I'm taking over from Carlijn as treasurer. With my enthusiasm, perseverance, and precision, I believe I'll fulfill this role with great pleasure and success. I hope to continue the good work of my predecessors and am very much looking forward to next year with my five other fantastic board members.

I love training at 't Haasje. I've been on the track for over 10 years, and over the years, I've become increasingly enthusiastic. You won't miss me at training very often, and I enjoy all the activities. Besides 't Haasje, I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in physics and astronomy, and I sometimes take up my racing bike or try out another sport.

My name is Joppe Halsema, and next year I'll be serving as Internal Affairs Commissioner for this wonderful club. I've been a member of 't Haasje for a few years now. To be honest, I don't even remember exactly how long, because time flies. I mainly run a lot, preferably distances of 10k and longer.
Besides all the running, I also studied electrical engineering. I'm almost finished with that, and I hope to find a good job in this field soon.

After being a member of this club for almost three years, I'll be taking on the role of race commissioner this year. Last year, I trained extensively and attended many NSKs (something I hope to continue this year). This is where I discovered how much I enjoy attending races, as well as organizing them myself or helping out as a volunteer. That's why I'm really looking forward to the coming year, organizing fun races and getting you excited about them too. Besides all that running, I also occasionally hop on my racing bike for a spin in the beautiful Nijmegen area. I also enjoy having a few beers with friends and am currently in the final year of my Business Information Technology & Management degree.

After a great year of attending many activities and training sessions, I'm finally ready to make a real contribution to the club. My name is Pelle Schmidt, and this year I'm delighted to be serving as PR & Sponsorship Commissioner. I'm really looking forward to learning what goes into such a club and how I can help. I'm already in my second year on the board at 't Haasje, and that's because this club has such a great and open atmosphere.
Besides 't Haasje, I'm currently in my third year of Applied Psychology, interning at Verschilmakers. Even though this will be a busy year, I'm really looking forward to it and I'm sure I'll have a fantastic year with my fellow board members!
